Rusty didn't really want to sit still for pictures.
He wanted to investigate the camera
and if he couldn't do that . . . well he'd just leave.

If you look closely at the middle picture, you can see that eva has different colored eyelids.
The right one is pink and the left is black.
In the right picture above, the toy is the knotted elastic edge cut off of a fitted sheet.
It was one of the first "toys" we made for them when they came to live with us and is the only one that has kept their interest.
They had only lived with us a few weeks when they outgrew all of the commercially available scratching posts.
So we took a four foot piece of 4" x 4", wrapped it with about 120 feet of sisal rope and attached it to the cat tree. (On the left, connected with the silver angles.)
They can now stretch their full length - something over three feet - to scratch.
Eva likes to slowly climb it as well.
